26/07/2010 - China: Proel installations at the Hakka World Park in Meizhou

Located in the Meijiang area in the province of Guangdong, Meizhou's Hakka World Park is a multifunction village stretching on a 2,000-hectare area.
Authorized by the People's Municipal Government, it is devoted to several themes such as research, education, culture, leisure, vacations and tourism.
The park is an important element of the latest five-year plan for the creation of a new social context - Hakka, world culture village in Meizhou - whose final aim is to increase the citizens' welfare through the tourist industry and introduce the new "global" Meizhou.
This ambitious program also involves Proel through Suremax, its distributor for the People's Republic of China, Proel installed its Audio Systems in several facilities in the village:
- the 3D movie theater hosts 3 NEOS152P loudspeakers, a ring of 12 EDGE25PB loudspeakers; 2 EDGE121SP subwoofers driven by 3 HPD3000 amplifiers and by four HPD3400PFC amplifiers;
- the Conference Center Multifunction Hall of the Hotel features 8 EDGE25PB and 2 NEOS215SP loudspeakers driven by 1 HPD3400PFC and HPD2000 amplifiers;
- the Conference Hall Audio is guaranteed by 4 EDGE8CXPW and 8 SPARK65CX loudspeakers;
- the Disco Club features 4 NEOS10P loudspeakers.
The park was built in three phases and, thanks to huge investments and nonstop work, the first part was completed in time for the date set for the official opening.
The choice for the civil engineering and the construction company was guided by very high professional criteria and the Chinese Urban Architecture Research & Design Institute was involved in planning and designing the site.
Hakka World Park offers many different kinds of attractions among which there is the largest azalea garden in Asia, which hosts thousands of different varieties, the first museum of Hakka popular traditions and culture; a typical Hakka Palace; an important concert arena; Hakka Mountain; Hakka Celebrities Museum; the Five Continent Holy Tree; the Buddhist monasteries (Mu Lian Temple, Bai Zi Abbey, Gao Kwanyin, Wan FO Tower); a panoramic botanical garden; Hakka Plantarum Generalis.
The park also hosts a five-star hotel and the International Conference Center, Water City, Kids' World, the Olympic village, some exotic villas and a square, the bus terminal, a commercial center, the 3D Movie Theatre and the Disco Club, a tourist village with a hotel and some bungalows.
On the cultural side, the park is the seat of several research centers - Folk Song; Folklore; Cultural Relics; Agriculture - of the Chinese Medicinal Plants Center and of an educational center (with a kindergarten and Chinese-English schools).
This project undoubtedly represents a new possibility for the exploitation of mountain territories aimed at favoring urban tourist-oriented developments and intended to create economical and social prospects.
